Being an actress, do you feel the pressure of being in perfect shape?
It’s less of pressure and more of a passion for me to stay fit and feel good about myself. No matter what field you’re in, it’s important for one to be fit and healthy.
What’s your typical workout routine?
I spend a couple of hours every day in the gym on functional workout and strength training. I also dedicate a few hours every week to do yoga and dance as they make me feel mentally and physically refreshed.
What’s one thing that you never skip in your workout?
Warm-up and stretching. I have seen a lot of people jump straight to the exercise while working out, which could be harmful.
What’s the main rule in your diet?
Never skip breakfast! It’s the first and the most important meal of the day and I make sure I never skip it. Also, I eat small portions to make sure I’m never starving and that I never overeat.
What do you eat in a day to stay fit?
I fill my day with a lot of fruits, salads and greens. I also make sure to drink a lot of water to keep myself hydrated and glowing.
Do you use gadgets to monitor your fitness goals?
I am not a big gadget freak, but I have quite a few apps on my phone that takes care of my exercising and dieting routines.
What does fitness mean to you?
I think fitness helps you train physically and keeps you mentally refreshed and motivated. The first person you should be taking care of in life is yourself.
Lastly, tell us about cheat meals and how often do you indulge?
Definitely once a week and mostly something with quite a few calories. Keeps me going for every other meal throughout the week.
